India's Ashok Leyland June sales down 4.6 pct y/y

MUMBAI: Ashok Leyland , India 's second-largest commercial vehicle maker, said it sold 8,009 vehicles in June, down 4.6 percent from a year ago. Domestic sales in June were 6,824 vehicles compared with 7,497 in the same period last year, though exports jumped 31.5 percent to 1,185 vehicles.
