Study: U.S. wars since 9/11 have killed 225,000, cost $4.4 trillion

Brown University focused on the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and counter-terrorism campaigns in Pakistan and Yemen. The study puts a "conservative" estimate of the conflicts' human toll at 225,000 and the financial toll at a quarter of the U.S. debt.
